Tobey & Jennifer: The Itsy-Bitsy Spidey-Baby Tally

Published by naturalbbevents at 4:51 pm under Movie News and Gossip Edit This

Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer can’t decide how many kids they want to have.

“I’m really excited about two, so we’ll see what happens from there,” Meyer told us last night at Saks Fifth Avenue’s Unforgettable Evening gala benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund.

The Spider-Man star and his wife, a jewelry designer, announced in November they were expecting their second child. Meyer is due this spring.

So what does their firstborn, 2-year-old daughter Ruby Sweetheart, think about all this?

“She seems really excited right now,” Meyer said. “She’s loving it. She’s really into the belly and it growing and her baby dolls. Ruby’s not really jealous. She just loves being around people, and this will be like having another little playmate.”

Fellow gala guest model-actress Angie Harmon says she wanted to have four kids with her football star hubby, Jason Sehorn, but she changed her mind once she had their third daughter, Emery Hope, in December.

“My new baby girl completes us,” Harmon said. “She really does. I’ve got three girls now and I’ve got lots of visions of them posing as Charlie’s Angels.”

As for sibling rivalry in their household, Harmon said, “I was all ready for it. I read all the research about it and I was totally prepared for everything, and they totally pulled the rug out from under me. They love her.”

The 14th annual Unforgettable Evening honored Gwyneth Paltrow and Courteney Cox for their commitment to helping fight cancer through public awareness, funding and research. For more scoop on the star-studded night, check over to Hollywood Party Girl.
